The Umpire Assessor has been designed to assist the community match day umpire coach to provide quality coaching feedback in AFL matches.

The Umpire Assessor allows the match day coach to observe and assess up to three umpires in one game. The design of the app has been to provide a functional assessment tool for coaches. The Umpire Assessor allows the match day coach to focus on major decisions within a game of football with the recording of decisional outcomes easily managed. Coaching notes can also be easily recorded in the text box along with the ability to flag any incidents within the game.
There is no internet required to undertake the assessment and the match coach can email the data back to the umpire manager/coach which can then be utilised to analyse data across the competition or by umpire. The Umpire Assessor has been developed for use on iPad devices.
